LaserVault Imaging takes information directly from your A/P or A/R applications and uses it to populate your imaging database, without having to enter the indexing information by hand. Document images are indexed automatically using CODE39 barcodes attached to the documents before scanning, eliminating the need for a dedicated scanning staff.
With one function key, you can create the database entry for a document and print out a barcode label or coversheet that contains the necessary indexing data. Attach this barcode to the document as a label or coversheet, and then batch scan all of the documents at the end of the day.
Using an inexpensive batch scanner and a minimum of labor, you have just matched the performance of a dedicated scanning department. The benefits of document imaging are available to you without having to increase headcount or turn your department into an IT cost center.
