LaserVault Imaging can now automatically retrieve indexing information from Scala and use it to populate an imaging database. Scala users are now able to scan their A/P documents without having to hand key indexes into an imaging database.

The LaserVault Imaging system creates barcodes that are placed on each A/P invoice before scanning. These barcodes reference the database location created automatically with information pulled directly from Scala. The documents with barcode cover sheets or stickers can then be loaded into an auto document feeder and batch-scanned.

Users can then query the scanned A/P images for quick and easy retrieval by invoice number, check number, date, vendor, etc. LaserVault can also populate the check number paid on each invoice.
