Challenges
Carlisle Etcetera LLC, the parent company of the Carlisle and Etcetera brands of private label women’s wear, needed an easier and more reliable way to back up the data from their AS/400. They wanted to resolve the issues they experienced with their tape backups, including the difficult process of accessing and restoring archived data.
Solution
LaserVault Backup (LVB) was selected to solve their backup challenges. Robert Abrahamson, iSeries Administrator at Carlisle Etcetera, states:
